SUPERPRO RETURNS TO ANGOLA MOTOR SPEEDWAY ON JULY 25
The SUPERPRO Series for late model stock cars will return to the Angola Motor Speedway's 2009 "Wide Open Tour" on Saturday, July 25 for the running of the Engineered Systems 75 presented by Turbo Blue Racing Gas - Corrigan Oil Co. and Penske Racing Shocks.
Current point leader and two time 2009 winner Tom Smith will compete against former series champ and May Angola winner Jack Landis, Tommy and Al Cook, Mike Kugler, Rick Everidge, Kevin Todd, Steven Brooks, Derek Bischak, Jason Dietsch, Mark Hankowsky, Andy Marchiniak, Tyler Middleton and former NASCAR driver Rich Bickle. The Michigan drivers will be led by current Turbo Blue Rookie leader Kyle Hayden, Terry Bogusz, 2008 Rookie of the Year Matt Hall, 2005 SUPERPRO Champion Rob Buckley, Ryan Inman, Danny Leeck, Brian Bauman and Paul Freeland. Some lucky girl or boy will walk away with a brand new bike compliments of Randercar Racing Enterprises and the SUPERPRO Series.
It will be Pizza Hut "Night at the Races" with the first 100 kids receiving a free t-shirt. The outlaw super late models will run for 75 laps plus the VARC vintage racers, mini stocks, and front wheel drives will also be in action.
